Zcar: two monitor chassis

Publication copy · updated October 16, 2026

This is a publication copy of material supplied by Zcar in a private Museum of the Game conversation, inspected with matching email notifications on October 6, 2026. The first half of the eBay exchange is missing. No original eBay screenshots, receipts, shipment records or technical photographs accompanied the October 6 messages. A shipping label and public clarification were supplied October 16; see the update below. The transcript verifies what Zcar supplied, not the authenticity or completeness of the underlying eBay messages.

Account, amounts and limitations

Zcar reports two eBay repair orders: a Wells Gardner 4900 on November 24, 2025 ($122.45), and a K7000 on December 2, 2025 ($173.21). He also reports $50 for sending both chassis to the business twice. The $345.66 total is reported expenditure, not a verified net loss; chassis value is excluded. Original payment records have not been inspected.

In his September 29, 2026 clarification, he says both chassis were initially returned untouched, then sent back after someone representing the business promised to address the problem. This explains the apparent contradiction between an earlier return and his later report that the business still held two chassis. Exact dates and shipment records remain missing.

On October 6 he supplied a partial copied eBay exchange dated March 18–June 7, 2026. It includes his March 19 return demand, responses attributed to Patterson on March 18, April 6 and April 27, and a copied June 7 account-restriction notice. The April 27 response agrees that packing and shipping remained; this does not independently prove completed repairs. The full supplied exchange is reproduced on the linked evidence page, including both parties’ language.

The March 19 description “close to half a year” exceeds the roughly 3½–4 months since the supplied order dates. References attributed to Patterson to 279 other people and a 270-plus backlog span business interests and are not proven victim or claim counts. The copied eBay notice does not establish the cause of any restriction or current seller status.

Nonreturn was explicitly reported September 29. Today’s supporting material does not separately confirm whether any later return, refund or chargeback occurred. Zcar authorized use and sharing of his message on October 6. The archive publishes his forum handle, omitting private contact details and order identifiers.

Partial correspondence supplied October 6

The following retains Zcar’s ME / SCOTT / EBAY speaker labels, dates, wording and spelling. These labels are his attribution. The copy begins March 18 and ends June 7, 2026. The original eBay message interface has not been inspected.

ME-----I just left a message for you on your answering machine

SCOTT---I haven't had an answering machine since 1997.
That said, the automated message eBay sent to you in reply to this should tell the tale... but if not, for clarity: We've been run through an extreme respiratory virus that has impacted us since March 2.
It started with me - Scott - in mid February and I finally shook it by the end of February. But it left behind an infection that put me down like Old Yeller for the majority of time since.
But I also gave it to everyone else here. Keith included. To my wife and kids. Life's been rough... nobody's been in for the most part.... and there's been nothing more we can do.
But as the outgoing says, we are all finally on the mend and should be back in action sooner than later. Personally, I've never been as sick in my life as I was with this and thankfully have been allowed to recover at home. We just need time to recover from this ultimate curveball and thankfully everyone lived, to empahise the severity of it.
Please keep messages here as per eBay policy, by the way. Thank you.

ME------Ok, the smart butt comment about not having an answering machine since 1997 was my final straw. Obviously, it was a voice mail and sent to the number at your website.
I don't know but I think that was your 4th or 5th excuse as to why you cant do the job(s) I paid you to do. I am really sorry about all the issues and problems you all are having but this has been going on now for close to half a year and I have had it. If you are so busy, sick and understaffed then why do you continue to sell on ebay if you cant get the job done in a reasonable time frame? Its just going to leave people pissed off and your feedback there will suffer for sure.
Get both of those chassis sent out today or tommorow please and send me the tracking info.
Otherwise, this entire conversation will be brought to the community's attention at the KLOV forums TexasHotshot.
Right now your best bet is just to respond to this with an "ok" and send me the tracking info without any other excuses. If you do anything else then I will go to the forums. I am really a nice guy and i am suspect you guys are as well but you have pushed me to this point.
Thanks for wasting another hour of my time.

ME-----Still got nothing to say?
OK, Let the fun begin....

SCOTT-----I must have missed 60 Minutes. What are you saying?

I did not see the previous message until now, largely due to just now coming back on the grid after being sick. I don't really care to have my illness discussed or debated, that's not really fair play. We have not pushed you... we've been pushed by all kinds of things nobody could possibly control.
A six week block of chaos involving everyone here is taking time to untangle. Today is the sixth business day where I've even had the ability to start trying, and the first order of business here in a few minutes is to do just that.
You are but one that I need to catch up on. If I pivoted to you on demand, then I'd receive other nastygrams from others. Best we can do is the best we can do.
No need to act like Lex Luthor. I can understand you wanting things wrapped up. So do the other 279 people across all our business interests that have been impacted by everyone being sick. By family being sick. By everything outside anyone's control that has put us here.
You are on a long list. There are people ahead of it you on that list. There are people below you on that list.
We're working on the list. Thank you.

ME------So hows that list going?????
Months ago you told me burn in testing was complete and all you had to do was ship.
Please, please, please dont make me come to Texass to get my chassis.
My head is in FIRE!

SCOTT-----I'm sorry to learn of the location of your head. I do recommend removing it from any open flames for safety purposes.
The list is going slowly but steady. Thank you for asking. It became a little harder when my only help quit due to how he was spoken to in the wake of the virus outbreak here, but I'm getting 5-10 people handled per day.
That is, of course, on a list of 270+ people who were impacted by my own six week battle with that same illness, so it remains a challenge to progress too far percentage wise with only so many hours available in the typical Earth day.
Your post seems to omit the fact that the burn-in statement was immediately followed by that illness, and it seems to also imply or assume that I just... haven't bothered to get to your issue. I am fascinated by how many people have reacted the same way, and I'm uncertain if this is due to people...
1). Insisting that their need supercedes the wants and needs of others that have also been displaced by the long term illness that almost took my life when I tried to work through it at first.
Or
2). That these people do not know or realize the sheer volume of work I take on and have to catch up with, possibly thinking they are one of five instead of one of 270+ people.
Or
3). That they intentionally ignore and/or minimize the impact of the heath issues if it means their video game needs cannot be met. This is what got Keith to quit and honestly, I cannot blame him. I've seen some pretty horrid messages along those lines myself. My efforts to find a way to possibly schedule future illnesses at a time that is more conveinent for other people have yet to find a solution.
So I do the best I can do each day. And a great deal is getting done each day. But I've discovered that I'm not Santa Claus nor Clark Kent, so progress will continue to be slower than some desire.

If I was to bump you to the top of the list on demand, I would no doubt receive similar messages from others who have also chosen combustion over empathy and continued patience.
"Coming to Texas" would be ill advised for a number of reasons, the most logical of which is that the odds that I'd be present at the time of your arrival would be remote. The reason for this is the exact work to catch up on everything that has been discussed here.
I'm sorry if you are upset. But it's also worth note that no amount of anger or threats of online character assassination over matters outside of my control and human capacity are not an effective means of communication nor a recommended one. It is not going to get you to the top of the list... it's actually more likely to cause a longer resolution. Not intentionally, but if I'm in a situation where I only have enough time in a day to get one more thing done, I'm much more likely to choose the task for the person who isn't on fire yet over the one who is already choosing anger.
Nobody is getting forgotten about or blown off here. I can understand your eagerness for completion but recognizing what I have to wade through here is not something to be glossed over. I'm sure your take on it is "all he has to do is pack it and ship it out" and that is correct... but it ignores the fact that I have an insane number of other tasks that are "that simple/quick" and I'd need 25 people to get them all done in one shot.
And the time I have to tak to reply to messages like this is time I could be spending on the tasks that are being mentioned here. And that is what I will be away working on until sundown again, starting now.
Thank you.

ME-----How is that list coming there slick?

EBAY ----- This user cannot receive messages because their account has been suspended or terminated. Please use caution before taking further action.

Business response and context

In the supplied transcript, Patterson attributes delays to serious illness, disruption affecting family and staff, a large backlog and Keith’s departure. On April 27 he says tasks are being completed and acknowledges packing/shipping remains. He also says anger could lead him to choose another customer’s task first, while qualifying that a longer resolution would not be intentional. These are customer-supplied attributions, not independently authenticated eBay originals; the archive does not determine whether the explanations were true or false.

Customer-supplied pasted text, not original eBay screenshots or exports. Early messages and carrier scans are missing; a shipping label was subsequently supplied October 16; authenticity, repair condition, refunds and current possession are not independently established.

October 6 follow-ups: permission and intended escalation

In October 6 follow-ups, Zcar identifies his eBay handle as 928s-owner, gives permission to use and show his message, expresses willingness to participate in a class action, and asks for police or detective contact information so he can file a complaint. These are the customer’s stated intentions, not evidence that a lawsuit, police report or investigation exists. His phone number and insulting characterization are omitted.

October 16 update: second-shipment label

Two supplied exhibits, IMG_8176(1).jpeg and IMG_8177.png, were inspected October 16, 2026 and added to existing case C14 as E68. No additional complainant is counted.

Label transcription

Carrier: UPS Ground
Recipient: Hyperspace Arcade Repair
Destination: Denton, Texas
Weight shown: 8 lbs

Street address, sender details, tracking number and machine-readable codes are omitted from this public transcription. Original exhibits are retained privately.

Zcar’s accompanying clarification

And that was the 2nd label when i had to send them back after he sent them back to me untouched. You can see the date at the very bottom. 01/20/2026.

The screenshot shows this statement under the forum handle Zcar. It links the supplied label to his existing account of two shipments. The label documents the stated recipient and destination; it does not by itself establish carrier acceptance or delivery. January 20, 2026 is the date Zcar identifies in his post; the footer is not independently verified as a shipment date. The claim that the chassis were returned untouched remains his account.
